The way in which we allocate our time reveals where we have placed our priorities. We generally tend to put things which bring us money and pleasure above the things of God; however, despite us having nothing to offer Him, God will always put us first.
“Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.'”
– John 4:34
Jesus was still doing the Father’s work even while dying on the cross. How many of us would have forgotten our assignment at this point? How many times have we dropped God for much less?
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
– Romans 5:8
Our prayer is that, just like Jesus, our food will be to do the will of The Father. As children of The Most High, we are here on assignment and by God’s grace we will all finish strong. We will seek the things of God and His Kingdom first and foremost, knowing that He knows our needs and is not only willing but able to provide.
Have a blessed week.
