The month of August is the eighth month of the year and 8 symbolises new beginnings. The number 8 symbolizes restoration, new beginnings or foundations; thus it is a season of the laying of new foundations for a new beginning; new opportunities and rekindling of our relationship with our maker. We will be praying for; anointing for greatness, signs & wonders in the ministry and careers & busineses.
Let us pray and cover each day of the 31 days of August 2019 in God’s Glory. Declare that God will enable us to pursue each day, overtake each day and recover everything good that each day of August 2019 will have to offer.
“So David inquired of the Lord, saying, ‘Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?’ And He answered him, ‘Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.’” – 1 Samuel 30:8
Pray for and desire that fresh anointing for greatness in the HOF, anointing for empowerment the type of anointing that breaks yokes.
“But you have made me as strong as a wild bull. How refreshed I am by your blessings![a]” – Psalm 92:10 (TLB)
Thank God for the opportunity He has given us for a new beginning and restoration through Jesus Christ. Let’s present our spiritual life, our talents and gifting. Pray that our relationship with Him will be restored to where it should be.
“You, the God who can save us, restore us! Stop being angry with us! Will you be mad at us forever? Will you prolong your anger from one generation to the next? Won’t you bring us back to life again so that your people can rejoice in you?” – Psalm 85:4-6 (CEB)
Pray that as we continue to worship our Maker in the HOF, our ministry will not be put to shame. Pray that we will not lack anything good in serving God. We will eat in plenty and be satisfied.
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.” – Joel 2:25-27
Pray over various careers and businesses gathered in HOF. Pray for job security, job opportunities, academic promotions and breakthroughs in all our endeavours all through 2019 and beyond.
“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” – Matthew 7:8-11
Pray that in the HOF, the Power of God will be made manifest. Pray that His Spirit and Power will be what will draw men and women and not the wisdom of men.
“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” – 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
Pray that in HOF, we will continue to confidently speak about our God and He will in-turn confirm His Word with signs and wonders thoughout 2019.
“The same thing happened in Iconium. Paul and Barnabas entered the Jewish synagogue and spoke as they had before. As a result, a huge number of Jews and Greeks believed. However, the Jews who rejected the faith stirred up the Gentiles, poisoning their minds against the brothers. Nevertheless, Paul and Barnabas stayed there for quite some time, confidently speaking about the Lord. And the Lord confirmed the word about his grace by the signs and wonders he enabled them to perform.” – Acts 14:1-3 (CEB)
Pray that in the last days when the bridegroom will come for His bride, all in the congregation of HOF will be found worthy.
“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” – Matthew 3:12
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength” Amen!
