Day 4: Praying for Leadership in 2020

PRAYING FOR OUR LEADERS GOVERNMENT, WORKPLACES AND CHURCHES.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 (KJV) – “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”
With a Biblical commands like this should we then not be diligently praying that God would give leaders of our nations, churches, our workplaces, schools etc wisdom. They all need our prayers, because all authority has been established by Him to accomplish His purposes. So Interceding for those in authority is not an option. It is a biblical command that we as Christians must obey.

PRAYER POINTS:

Ephesians 6:12 – “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”
PRAY THAT BECAUSE WE DO NOT WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND EVIL POWERS. PRAY THAT GOD WILL GO AHEAD OF US IN APRIL 2020 AND REMOVE EVERY CONTRARY SPIRIT THAT WANTS TO HINDER OUR PROGRESS.

1 Corinthians 16:9-11 (NKJV) – “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”
PRAY THAT IN APRIL 2020, GOD WILL EMPOWER BELIEVERS IN HOF TO DEFEAT ADVERSARIES TO THE WORD OF GOD IN OUR COMMUNITY AND THIS NATION. AND FINALLY MAKE THAT WALK THROUGH THE EFFECTIVE DOOR THAT IS OPENED FOR THE WORD OF GOD.

Proverbs 21:1 (NKJV) – “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
LETS PRAY THAT IN THIS TIME AND IN THIS SEASON, THAT OUR GOD WILL HEAR OUR INTERCESSION AND CAUSE OUR LEADERS IN GOVERNMENT TO OVERTURN ANY POLICY THAT DOES NOT CONFORM TO BIBLICAL ETHICS.

Jeremiah 29:7 – “Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace”
PRAY THAT IN THE MIDST OF EVIL AND TROUBLE IN THIS LAND, OUR LEADERS IN THEIR VARIOUS WALK OF LIFE, WILL CONTINUE TO SEEK THE PEACE AND SECURITY OF THIS NATION.

1 Timothy 2:2 (NKJV) – “For kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”
PRAY THAT OUR CHURCH LEADERS WILL ENJOY AN ATMOSPHERE THAT IS CONDUCIVE TO THE SPREADING OF THE GOSPEL THEREBY LEADING A “QUIET AND PEACEABLE LIFE” IN 2020.

Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV) – “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
PRAY THAT OUR CHURCH LEADERS WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE SALT AND LIGHT IN THIS NATION. PRAY THAT THEY WILL BE A QUICK TO LISTEN, SLOW TO SPEAK, AND SLOW TO GET ANGRY.

Acts 17:30 (NKJV) – “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,”
PRAY AND ASK GOD TO OPEN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF OUR MANAGERS IN OUR WORKPLACES FOR THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL TO PENETRATE AND DRAW THEM TO CHRIST.

“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.” – Joshua 3:5
