Day 3: February 2020

Warfare Prayer

Psalmists says, ”Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him”. Warfare prayer is a kind of prayer that brings the victory of Jesus over the host of evil. They are prayers directed at the host of darkness. Warfare prayer is a language of spiritual warfare. There are different kinds of prayers, prayer of faith, prayer of petition, prayer of commitment, prayer of consecration, prayer of agreement, but warfare is more focused on the wicked forces.

On Thursday our prayer point number – 7, was for a permanent place of worship for HOF ministry.
Yesterday Friday, our prayer point number – 6, was about committing everything concerning our church building into His hands, and that we will not be put to shame because we are persuaded that He is able to deliver what we are trusting Him for.
Today, we will be praying against abandoning God’s project.

PRAYER POINTS:

Zechariah 4:9 – “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it.”
Let’s pray and declare that we will finish our building project in HOF because our God promised it to us and He has laid the foundation.

Isaiah 65:21-23 – “And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.”
Pray that all our effort in building the Lord’s temple will not be in vain.
Pray that we will not build for another to inhabit.
Pray that in the HOF we will enjoy the work of our hands.

Luke 5:5 – “Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
Pray that as leaders in HOF, we will build the Lord’s house according to His specifications.
Pray that we will not build with ulterior motive of self.

Hebrews 12:1 (NKJV) – “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us”
Pray that as we build the Lord’s temple, we will lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us so that we will build with holy hands.

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) – “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Pray and ask this of the Lord, that HOF will have the resources to finish this project to the glory of the Lord.

Thank God for the strength to wait upon Him these 3 – days.
The expectations of the righteous shall not be cut short in Jesus Name.
