Day 1: April 2020

Life is a gift from God and He alone is able to protect it.
Job 33:4 – “The Spirit of God made me, the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
On the basis of the above therefore, our prayer line is as follows:

PRAYER POINTS:

Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
Start by thanking God for the gift of life and for keeping us safe this far.

Ps 91:16 – “With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Pray that Lord satisfy us with long life, none will die before his/her time and we will remain alive for the numbers of days He has given to us

Ps 30:3 – “O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit.”
Pray that the Lord deliver us from the danger of death in light of the current pandemic. That He be our fortress of hope and protection at this time.

Matt 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted”
Pray that the Lord comfort those who are mourning the death of love ones from the current virus. That He will heal the broken hearted as a result of the pandemic.

Jeremiah 32:27 – “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Pray that the Lord restore health and peace to those infected by COVID-19. Remember the doctors, nurses and carers who are caring for those infected – that the Lord will protect them and their families

Deuteronomy 31:8 – “And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed”
Pray that the Lord covers the thought of those who are lonely at this time with hope and send his love to their heart. That He will comfort them in their moment of loneliness and be their shelter in the midst of the storm, never leaving them nor forsaking them.

Ps 121:4-8 – “Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forevermore.”
Pray that the Lord protect and preserve the lives of every members of HOF and their families at this time.

Matt 16:18 – “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it”
Using HOF as a point of contact, ask the Lord to protect His church from the hands of the enemy.

May the almighty God advance us as a Church/Individual/Family IJN.
