Day 2: April 2020

We again want to call upon the God of heaven and earth for protection during this season when the whole world is reeling and panicking from the trail of destruction of the virus.
The bible says in Romans 14:11“For it is written: ‘As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.’” He remains the Alpha and the Omega, the yesterday, today and forever.

PRAYER POINTS:

Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Lets pray that the mighty God who has given us the spirit of adoption rather than fear will strengthen us throughout this season. He will uphold us with His righteous right hand.

Deut 31:6 – “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Lets pray for ourselves in HHOF that we will all hold onto God ‘the author and finisher of our faith’ throughout this season even as He has promise not to leave nor forsake us.

Psalm 20:1-2 – “May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion”.
Lets pray that the God who made ears for hearing will hear us in our time of distress and send us help from His sanctuary as we cope with this pandemic.

Psalm 23:4 & 6 – “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. […] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.”
Lets also pray that throughout this difficult period the Lord will be with us and comfort us. His goodness and mercy will follow us till the end.

2 Cor 4:8-10 – “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body”.
Lets pray that this crisis will be for our increase. Whatever anyone loses will be restored multiple fold because of the resurrection power of Christ that is in us.

John 10:28-29 – “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand”.
Lets pray that according to God’s word that we and our loved ones will not perish in this pandemic but shall live to testify of the greatness of our God in whose hand we are in.

Psalm 121:7-8 – “The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore”.
Lets pray that the Lord will preserve our mind, body and souls during this attack on the human life. He will give His angels charge over our going out and coming in all the days of our life.

2 Sam 22:3-4 – “The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies”.
Lets pray also that we will not cease to praise the Lord of host who has delivered us from every testing of our faith, every on-slot of the enemy and made us overcomers.
